Matt Burgess

Long-time Ambassadors youth coach & director Matt Burgess is now stepping into a significant role with the men’s first team. Burgess has coached the current u19 Ambassadors boys and helped to produce several players who are now first team members. Matt is also the Director of Coaching for the youth boys side of Ambassadors FC. Burgess comes from Bristol, England and will serve as a talented support coach with the u23s and first team this summer. Matt is the former head coach of the Gloucestershire Player Development Center and holds his UEFA ‘B’ license. He also served as an assistant coach at Malone University for a number of years. Burgess’s current ‘04 AFC boys are the reigning Ohio State Cup Champions, as well as the defending champions in the GLA National Premier League.
